Dear Customer,
In accordance with current legislation regarding the protection of personal data (EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016), we wish to inform you that the processing of your personal data is carried out with fairness and transparency, for lawful purposes and by protecting your privacy and your rights.
Processing is also carried out with the aid of IT tools for the following purposes:
1) To acquire and confirm your reservation for accommodation and ancillary services, and to provide the requested services. Since this processing is necessary for the definition of the contractual agreement and its subsequent implementation, your consent is not required, except in cases where special data, so-called sensitive data, are provided. In case of refusal to provide personal data, we will not be able to confirm the reservation or provide the requested services. Processing will cease upon your departure, though some of your personal data may or must continue to be processed for the purposes and in the manners indicated in the following points;
2) To comply with the obligation provided by the "Consolidated Law on Public Safety" (Article 109 R.D. 18.6.1931 No. 773), which requires us to communicate to the Police Headquarters, for public safety purposes, the details of accommodated guests according to the procedures established by the Ministry of the Interior (Decree of January 7, 2013). The provision of data is mandatory and does not require your consent; in case of refusal to provide them, we will not be able to host you in our facility. Data acquired for this purpose is not stored by us unless you provide consent for storage as provided in point 4;
3) To comply with current administrative, accounting, and tax obligations. For these purposes, processing is carried out without the need to acquire your consent. The data is processed by us and our appointees, and is communicated externally only in fulfillment of legal obligations. In case of refusal to provide the data necessary for the aforementioned requirements, we will not be able to provide the requested services. Data acquired for these purposes is stored by us for the time provided by the respective regulations (10 years, and even beyond in the event of tax audits);
Categories of subjects who may come into contact with the data.
Your personal data will be processed by the following categories of persons:
- Management of the company, in the capacity of data processors and/or persons authorized for processing;
- Staff at the reception, administration, and procurement of the facilities managed by Borgo Vita Novella S.r.l. in the capacity of persons authorized for processing.
The data will never be subject to dissemination, except with your explicit consent.
We also wish to inform you that the European Regulation recognizes certain rights, including the right of access and rectification, or erasure or restriction of or opposition to processing, as well as the right to data portability, if and as applicable (Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016). You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, according to the procedures provided by current legislation.
